We Are The Solution

The Health Care Providers Group Insurance Plan (HCP) is a unique program of true group benefits specifically designed for part-time, casual and contract hospital employees and hospital retirees. Unlike virtually any other group plan, it is available to individual employees and their families on a voluntary basis. The voluntary enrollment aspect makes HCP a great option that will provide a full offering or compliment your existing offering to your staff.

The plan was launched in 1997 when the Oshawa General Hospital (now Lakeridge Health Oshawa) became our first endorsing hospital site and has grown to include over 90 endorsing hospital systems in the Province of Ontario. Endorsing sites vary in size, from small hospitals like Lady Dunn in Wawa to Sunnybrook in Toronto. It has been so successful that we went national!



How Does It Work

It is administered entirely by the HCP team, so there is virtually no work required of the Human Resources department. Plus, there is no additional cost to the hospital as the program is fully paid by the employee!
