If you are a casual hospital employee, you may be wondering whether or not you are able to qualify for benefits. Perhaps the hospital that you work for does not offer them or you have been considering the optionof purchasing extremely expensive individual benefits. With an increasing amount of part-time and casual staffing opportunities in hospitals, there is an ever-growing demand for comprehensive and affordable benefits for health care workers who may not be able to opt-in to benefits provided in the workplace.
The importance of maintaining your physical and mental wellbeing cannot be overstated. Having access to health care benefits can support health maintenance as well as provide coverage for any unexpected or emergent health issues. Within the healthcare sector, it only makes sense that the staff who work to provide and support the excellent care of patients be able to access care to support their own health needs.
