HCP provides group benefits for part time and retired hospital employees

If you work an average of less than 18 hours a week as a permanent part time or
Casual employee you are eligible to apply for Plan 2 benefits


Plan 2 Benefits include:

- Extended Health Care
- Drug Plan (pay-direct card)
- Optional Dental Care


Plan 2 Extended Health Care is offered at 3 different coverage levels

- Essential*
- Complete
- Optimum


*Regardless of your health or when you apply, if you are a part time hospital
employee you are guaranteed basic (or Essential ) coverage. 

However, depending on when you apply and where you work, you may be
guaranteed the additional coverage of the Complete level at the same rate.

Applicants who submit Form 2 may be considered for the most extensive coverage (Optimum Level) at no additional cost.

Note: Eligibility will be calculated according to your average hours worked per week.
